Many, numerous years back, Hattie B's shared their formula for their Medium Hot Chicken in a magazine. I spared that formula and use it as a reason for all my hot chicken plans.
This Slow Cooker Nashville Hot Chicken can be as hot or mellow as you need by altering the measure of cayenne pepper. My form is hot yet not consume your lips hot. Chicken Legs isn't a fanatic of too fiery nourishments and this was the perfect temperature for him.

- 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 to 4 Tbsp cayenne pepper (start with 2 and add more after taste testing)
- 3 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Place chicken in 6-qt slow cooker.
- Whisk together remaining ingredients. Pour over chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 6 hours.
- Shred cooked chicken with two fork.
- Serve on buns with pickles and ranch.
