ou will LOVE this Easy Avocado Shrimp Ceviche Recipe! It's loaded with new and sound fixings and a dash of flavor, all spooned into California Avocados, supported by the California Avocado Commission! It's nothing unexpected that avocados are a standout amongst the most well known thing in the produce area. Particularly here in California where I live. It's a staple fixing to many (and I mean many) of my dishes. I generally have them available and my young men adore them.

The best thing about California Avocados is the way adaptable they are. You can add them to exquisite or use them in sweet dishes also. You can dice them up and use them as a garnish, or you can utilize them like a glass. I did both of those last two in my formula today!

The Best Easy Avocado Shrimp Ceviche Recipe with a little flavor!

This Avocado Shrimp Ceviche formula is quite astonishing, I'm not going to mislead anybody, lol! To be honest, I've never really made a ceviche formula so I did some exploration already to ensure I realized what I was getting into. Ceviche is essentially a procedure of cooking crude fish in citrus juices. I didn't really do that in my formula since I needed to make sure the shrimp was cooked totally through (and all microbes gone). So I bubbled crude shrimp for 2 minutes and depleted and after that diced and let it marinate in crisp lemon and lime juices.

At that point I diced up California Avocados, tomatoes, green onions, jalapeƱo, cilantro and added it to the depleted shrimp. Tossed in certain flavors and spooned into a couple of avocado parts and bam! Avocado Shrimp Ceviche! You could nearly consider it a shrimp salsa, as well.

June is California Avocado Month, so I needed to ensure these perfect California Avocados were up front. The avocado performs twofold responsibility in this formula since it's inside the ceviche but on the other hand is the bowl that you serve it in. I cherish the manner in which they turned out, isn't that right? So exquisite and solid!

Ingredients :

  • 10 oz. raw medium shrimp, deveined, peeled
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 California Avocado, diced
  • 2 roma tomatoes, diced
  • 4 green onions, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, diced
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • ⅛ tsp. garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp. coriander
  • 2 California Avocados, halved and pitted for serving

Instructions :

  1. Bring 3 quarts of water to a boil. Add raw shrimp and boil for 2 minutes. Drain shrimp and chop into small pieces.
  2. Combine lime and lemon juices in a bowl and add shrimp and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 45 minutes.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients (except avocado halves) together. Drain juices from shrimp and add to tomato mixture. Spoon ceviche into avocado halves and serve. Also really delicious with tortilla chips. Enjoy!
